My background is in customer service. Having worked for some of the largest retailers in Connecticut. I have spent the better part of twenty-four years in the customer service field. So when I walk into an establishment be it a restaurant, grocery store, pharmacy, or even the local mini mart I have an opinion on how they treat there customers and just as important how they treat there employees.
In my current position I drive about 100 miles a day around Connecticut. So I have frequently stop and restaurants, gas stations, and coffee shops. That is where I got the idea for my blog.
My idea is simple. I have an opinion on every place I stop. I’m also pretty sure you do too. The premise of my blog is if you have an opinion please share it with the rest of the world. We want to know!
A lot of companies spend thousands and thousands of dollars on mystery shoppers. In my opinion that is absolutely worthless. The mystery shoppers are only in the retail location for maybe an hour. I feel that if someone shops in the same location over a period of time they have a much better idea of what goes on and how the company treats there customers and employees over the long haul.
